For those of you who are booked on the busses for this Saturday’s trip to Bishop Auckland, over the next day or so you’ll be contacted to let you know which bus you’ll be assigned to.
If you’re planning on getting on at Seaton Delaval or High Pit and haven’t let us know yet, please do drop us a message to let us know ASAP – as Bus 1 will only be going through Seaton Delaval, while Bus 2 will only be going via High Pit.
Both busses will be leaving from The Wallaw at 10am.
Spoons will of course be open from 8am, with alcohol served from 9:00am. I’m sure plenty of you will be joining us for breakfast and a pint. Please ensure you arrive well before the departure time though, as we’ll be trying to get away promptly. So if you’re late, the busses won’t wait for you.
We’ll be getting dropped off at The Stanley Jefferson in Bishop Auckland at roughly 11am, and you’ll be free to explore the town centre (and it’s many pubs) until 2pm to head down to the ground. Make sure you’re back at the same drop off point for 2pm – as it’s a long old walk to the ground to if you miss it.
After the game, we’ll be heading straight home, so please return straight to the busses once the game is done and dusted.
On the way back Bus 1 will do the Seaton Delaval drop off, while Bus 2 will do the High Pit drop off. The busses will both be stopping at Gino’s, for those of you wishing to go over to the Spartans Social Club. We’ll also do the usual stop off right outside the Masons arms for anyone heading straight there, before a final drop off at The Wallaw.
For the few of you who still need to pay, can please make sure you do so ASAP.
Feel free to drop us a message if you have any questions.
