Awaydays will make an early return ahead of the 2025/26 season – as Spartans make a rare trip north to take on Scottish Lowland League side and Northumberland neighbours Berwick Rangers on Saturday 4th July.
As a trial run, the bus will be leaving from Croft Park at 11:30am – with the bus picking us from the bus stop next to Gino’s. Beforehand, the Spartans Social Club will be open from 9am, serving breakfast and drinks.
The bus will be heading to Berwick and will be parking straight up at the ground, for roughly 1pm. Adjacent to the ground is the Black and Gold pub, who’ll be hosting us prior to the game. With plenty of pool tables, a canny size beer garden and more – that should surely keep us entertained before the game!
As per usual, after the game we’ll be returning straight after the game. If anyone wishes to stock up on cans of Tennent’s, we’ll make a brief stop at the local Tesco before heading back to Blyth – hopefully landing home for 6:45pm. If required, additional drop off’s at Seaton Delaval and High Pit will also be done if needed.
