An evening with Harry and the treble winners

We are delighted to confirm that following on from last year’s successful fundraiser for Operation Elf, we will once again hosting legendary manager Harry Dunn and his 2005/06 treble winning team!

The event be taking place on Saturday 6th December at the Spartans Clubhouse, as we look back and celebrate the 2005/06 side’s magnificent achievements.

The evening will consist of a talk in with both Harry Dunn and Player/Assistant Manager Graham Fenton hosted by Mark Carruthers – though I’m sure many of the players will be chipping in with some ‘interesting’ stories on the night!

All of the players and staff (even Tony Kennedy) who took part in the 2005/06 will be invited along – as well as many of the volunteers who played a vital role in what was one of the club’s most successful seasons.

Like last year we’ll be raising funds for Operation Elf, a local charity that purchases toys and Christmas gifts for children and families in need throughout the Blyth Valley area.

We’ll also raffling off some classic Spartans merchandise at the end of the night, to help raise some additional funds for the Scott Bell Fund and Bright Red (in memory of Anth Lowther).

Tickets for the event will be £12, and will of course include pie and peas courtesy of Shy’s!

So if you’re up for a fun evening with some great stories from a truly legendary group, you can get your tickets here.
