For the first time in over 10 years, Spartans are set to travel over the border into Scotland for a pre-season friendly and likely, a summer’s day out on the hoy!
As it’s a rare adventure north (sort of) and a ground many likely haven’t been to just yet, we’ll be organising a bus for this trip – given the expected interest.
Leaving from The Wallaw at 10am, we’ll then divert to Dealval for 10:10am and then swing by High Pit for a 10:15 pick up – before heading off to Gretna. Prior to landing at Raydale Park, we’ll be stopping off at the Gretna Inn – which offers a wide variety of food, ales and plenty of Tennents.
We’ll then be heading over to the ground for about 2pm. Once the game is wrapped up we’ll be heading straight off, with the drop offs in reverse order, as ever.
