Due to the amount of people showing an interest in this year’s play on the pitch fundraiser – it’s been decided that a second play on the pitch game, will be organised later on the same day.
Kicking off at the later time of 3pm (giving Peter plenty of time to sweep up) – this game will be managed and refereed by some former/current Spartans fan favourites (TBA). You’ll also be competing for a trophy (sponsor’s name pending).
To help ensure everyone gets a fair amount of playing time, only 32 slots will be available for the second game.
The Social Club will be open throughout the day, for those requiring refreshments! Like last year, those taking part will be supplied with an array of pizza’s and more, courtesy of the world famous Gino’s.
Family, friends and supporters are welcome to come and witness what will no doubt be a footballing spectacle! Entry will be ‘pay what you want’ as it was last, with the donations from the gate going to Tiny Lives – a charity that supports and champions premature and sick newborn babies and their families, at the Newcastle Neonatal Service and across the North East and North Cumbria.
