A superb evening was had at the Social Club last night! Thank you to everyone that came down – we hope you enjoyed the evening as much as we did.
Over the past few weeks and months, a huge amount of effort has gone into getting the kits sorted, marketing the shirt and getting last night to run as smoothly as possible – and it’s all been worth it.
First of all, a massive thank you goes to Ian Hertwick, for dreaming up the idea and getting it designed – as well as setting up the roadmap to the launch night. A huge thank you also goes out to his wife Karen, Peter Thompson and Anth Seghini for their work alongside Ian, and their efforts running the pop up Viz store last night.
A huge well done must also be extended to the media team, in particular Jordan Armstrong, for all his efforts plotting the photoshoot. Safe to say that’s the first ‘professional’ photoshoot we’ve ever really done 😅. The same can be extended to videographer Ethan Murray – who’s produced some excellent stuff in recent weeks. On the back of this project, it’s safe to say we have one of the best media teams about at the moment – despite Issac’s trim.
A thank you to the rest of Spartans Trust committee as well, who worked their socks of last night and in the weeks prior to help get last night up and running.
Finally a thank you to Graham Dury for all of the time he’s given the club in recent weeks. On top of giving up hours upon hours of his time to draw on shirts and more, Graham has also donated countless Viz goodies to help the club raise some extra funds.
It’s safe to say Blyth Spartans AFC will forever be indebted to Graham for everything he’s done to help us over the years 💚.
